Indie Polish Market (IPM) – Frequently Asked Questions

What is Indie Polish Market (IPM)?

Indie Polish Market is a multi-brand web shop created by the owners of Polish Pickup. IPM allows customers to shop from multiple indie nail polish brands in one place while continuing to support each brand directly.


How does shipping work?

Most products are shipped directly from the individual brands. This means each brand handles fulfillment for their own items.

Some polishes are categorized In House. These items are stocked in the IPM warehouse and can be purchased together under one combined shipping fee.


What does the In-House mean?

In House Polishes are:

  • Stocked and shipped directly by IPM

  • Eligible for combined shipping with other In-House items as well as PPU Over Stock

  • Fully supported by IPM customer service

All customer service questions, issues, or concerns for In-House items should be directed to IPM.


What about items not found In-House?

Items not listed in our In-House section are shipped directly from the brand you purchased from. These brands handle fulfillment and inventory for their own products.

If you have a question or issue with one of these items, IPM will connect you with the brand so they can assist you directly.


Who do I contact for order issues?

  • In House items: Contact IPM customer service. We handle all order issues for these products.

  • Direct-from-brand items: IPM will coordinate with the brand on your behalf and connect you with them to resolve any questions or concerns.

Our goal is to make sure every customer receives timely and helpful support, no matter which brand you purchased from.


Can I combine shipping across multiple brands?

Only items In-House are eligible for combined shipping under one shipping fee.

Items shipped directly from brands will each ship separately according to that brand’s shipping method.


Do you offer international brands?

Yes. One of the benefits of IPM is access to select international indie brands at domestic shipping prices, making it easier and more affordable to shop makers from around the world.


Where is IPM based?

Indie Polish Market is based in Cottage Grove, Minnesota.


When was IPM launched?

IPM launched in March 2026 and continues to grow as we partner with more indie brands.


Can my brand join Indie Polish Market?

We are always excited to work with new indie brands. If you are interested in partnering with IPM, please contact us through our website for more information.



Returns & Cancellations

All sales through Indie Polish Market are final.

OVERSTOCK - WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ANY NAIL POLISH EFFECTS WILL WORK. No refunds will be issued. 

Because most items are produced by independent brands and many are shipped directly from those makers, we are unable to offer cancellations, returns, or exchanges once an order has been placed.

Please review your cart carefully before completing checkout. If you believe you have made an error with your order, you may contact IPM as soon as possible. While we cannot guarantee changes, we will do our best to assist when timing allows.


Damaged or Missing Items

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or with an incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the issue and your order number.

  • In House items: These products are stocked and shipped by IPM. All damaged, missing, or incorrect items will be handled directly by IPM customer service.

  • Direct-from-brand items: These items are shipped by the brand. IPM will coordinate with the brand and connect you so the brand can assist in resolving the issue.

We work closely with our brand partners to ensure all problems are addressed quickly and fairly.


Color Accuracy, Swatches & Expectations

We make every effort to represent each polish as accurately as possible through swatch photos and descriptions. However, nail polish colors can vary based on lighting, monitor or screen settings, skin tone, and application.

Because of these natural variations, differences between the product received and swatch photos are not considered defects. Color appearance, finish, opacity, and effect may look different in person than on screen.

For this reason, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for:

  • Color differences

  • Finish or effect appearing different than expected

  • Personal preference after receiving the product

We encourage customers to review multiple swatches and read full product descriptions before purchasing.
